The St. Boris and St. Gleb Church is the oldest surviving building in Grodno, representing the ancient Black Ruthenian architectural style. Built before 1183, it is now a candidate for the UNESCO World Heritage List in Belarus. Another famous church is the towering Baroque-style St. Francis Xavier Church. Additionally, the Old Grodno Castle is one of the most famous landmarks in Grodno. It has been transformed into the National Historical and Archaeological Museum of Belarus, showcasing the city’s long history and its ancient yet sophisticated art and culture to visitors from all around the world.
