Głogów is a city in the southwestern part of Poland, located in Głogów County in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is the sixth largest city in the province and one of the oldest cities in Poland, first mentioned as early as 1010.

Głogów boasts numerous historical landmarks, serving as representatives and witnesses of history, including the Głogów City Hall, the Głogów Ducal Castle (currently an archaeological museum), late Baroque Christian churches, the 16th-century Church of St. Lawrence, early Gothic Church of St. Nicholas, and more. If you have ample time, you can also visit the 221-meter-high chimney of the power plant, the 19th-century artillery fortress, 17th-century moats and medieval city walls.
