The town of Nine Mile is located in the parish of Saint Ann. On February 6, 1945, the founder of reggae music, Bob Marley, was born here and he once rested in the same spot in the town. Bob Marley’s grave is situated in this town and is managed by his family. The famous town of Nine Mile is home to many historical artifacts related to Bob Marley, including guitars, medals, and photographs.
